I wanted to say hello and tell you who I am—and why Annie Shore.

Many of you know me as Robin. Some of you know me as Robin Ann. And if you knew my grandma, you might have heard her call me Robin Annie. I have so many wonderful memories of her, and choosing "Annie" is my little tribute to someone who meant so much to me.

So why Shore?

If you know me personally, you know that I love—I mean LOVE—the beach or a shoreline of any kind. There's just something about the water.

Growing up, my parents owned a little lakeside resort with fishing cabins. My life jacket was non-negotiable because you could never turn your back on me. If there was water nearby, I wanted to be in it. Looking back, some of my favorite childhood memories were made right there on that lake.

As an adult, not much has changed. I'm always counting down the days until I can get back to the beach. It's my happy place. There is something about the sound of the waves rolling in that brings a sense of peace and calm that I can't quite explain.

So naturally...that's where the Shore comes from.

Voilà...Annie Shore.

So Why Annie Shore Curations?

I've always believed vacations shouldn't begin when the plane lands. They should begin the moment you start dreaming about them.

Have you ever planned a trip and started looking for something cute to wear for the beach, around the resort, or maybe dinner one night? You don't have time to spend a day shopping, so you hop online and order a few things from Amazon.

Then the package arrives.

The dress looks nothing like the picture.

The fabric isn't what you expected.

Or you ordered a large, and it looks like it would fit a 12-year-old.

Now you're back to searching for something else to wear just days before your trip.

Well, my friends, that's a big part of why I'm on this journey.

I also happen to love to shop—especially when I'm traveling. I love bringing home the goods! Whether it's a beautiful cover-up, a unique home accent, or something that reminds me of a special place, I'm probably finding room for it in my suitcase. It's always a running joke whether my luggage will be overweight...and by how much.

This isn't about being a fashion or travel expert. It's about being someone who loves to travel, loves beautiful things, and wants to make online shopping a little less frustrating. As I discover brands and products that I truly love, I'll share them with you, hoping to make your shopping experience a little easier and a lot more enjoyable.
